Is the Isle of Man part of the UK?

No! The Isle of Man is neither part of Great Britain nor the United Kingdom.

What are the people who are born on the Isle of Man known as?

People born here are known as 'Manx', classified as British.

What is the National Flag of the Isle of Man?

The Manx is the National Flag of the Isle of Man. It comprises the white, grey and yellow 'Three Legs' set against a red background.

What is the National symbol of the Isle of Man?

The National Symbol of the Isle of Man is the Three Legs of Man. The legs, clad in armour and bearing spurs, run in a clockwise direction. They bear the Latin motto 'Quocunque Jeceris Stabit' or 'Whichever way you throw it, it will stand' - a testament to islanders' independence and resilience.

"Our signature manx creatures are the fairies of fairy bridge and our manx cats, with no tails.
Our national dishes are chips, cheese and gravey (Don't knock it till you've tryed it!) Kippers, (Smoked herring) and sweetcorn mash, traditionally served with chilled port. Said to have been invented by Noah, after he cut off the manx cats tails, as he wanted to give back to the enviroment.
We are probably most famous for the TT races, (Tourist Trophey) started in 1907 and still carried on till this day."
