Friends Association

The Friends of Woodlands is a charity fund raising committee run by parents of children in the school and some of the staff.

The Association actively supports the school through its fund-raising efforts, raising money for all those little extras that help to enhance the children's lives in school.

The success of the Friends depends entirely on the support of all parents and staff. We greatly appreciate any assistance. This can be anything from a little time spent helping out, to coming along to the functions with friends and family.

Our Friends Association activities are enjoyable and we hope that they are a good way for people to meet each other. Through events such as fayres, fashion shows, family fun nights and so on we have raised tens of thousands of pounds in the last few years. These funds have enabled the school to provide extra, valuable resources for the children to use. We have also provided funds for an adventure play area, hall curtains, musical instruments, computers and many, many other items.

Join in the fun
Please support us by bringing your family and friends to our events. Each event raises much money to help provide extra equipment for our children to enjoy and learn by.Help in school
Perhaps you have a few hours 'spare' time that you don't know how to fill! Come along to Woodlands Junior. We always have jobs for willing hands. It could be listening to readers or assisting with an art activity, helping on an outing, no previous experience necessary just come along and have a go.
