 Pets Corner

Rabbits used to be kept on the area we now call the Quiet Area, outside Class One. The window, you can see in the distance, is our library window.

Class 3H with Mr Holdstock.

There were many rabbits in cages along the walls and the middle part was their run. It wasn't paved over then.

The children took it in turns to be 'animal prefects'.
The Rabbit below was called Omo.

'I believe there was another rabbit called Pepper there at the same time - can anyone remember? ' Sean Chantler (ex-pupil)

You now have seen the early buildings.

Where to next?

4) The First Pupils 5) Higham Lane 6) Pupils 1970-79
