Small Eared Zorro

The small-eared zorro is also known as the small-eared fox and the small-eared dog. This dog-like fox lives in rainforests of South America, including the Amazon basin.

The short, thick coat of the small-eared zorro suggests that the animal is often in water or resides in areas of heavy rainfall. The coat keeps the animal warm.

Its short narrow legs are well adapted for locomotion in dense forests.

Their paws are partially webbed, suggesting that they may be somewhat aquatic.
