Manners,politeness and general kindness

The following message was sent in via email from a visitor to our website:

"There are certain things that get my back-up. Lack of manners, politeness and general kindness. Recently we had a debate about muslims wearing the vail in the U.K. It is no problem to me. The problem I have is when people from overseas dont think about our customs.
E.G- Wearing hats indoors. On many occasssion I have had to ask someone to remove their hat while indoors, usually a resturaunt or such. It makes me mad that our customs are ignored, yet we have to observe so many others."

Our page on the Dos and Don'ts in England is very popular. We feel it is important to let people know what we see in England, and indeed the rest of the UK, as polite and impolite.
