Classes from Year 5 and 6 visited the Millenium Dome in London.

Here is their report and photographs.

We left the school at 7am and travelled by coach to the Millennium Dome.

The first zone we visited was the Mind Zone. We were shown round by actors They taught us how amazing our minds are and how we can influence our future. They had a robot called Melvis, who thought and boasted that robots have better brains than humans, when really it took a human brain to make a robot and give it it's memory.

Next we went into the Body Zone, where we travelled through the human body. My favourite part was the heart because it actually thumped and moved like a real heart would do. The Body zone was quite good because it was really disgusting but, at the same time,fascinating too.

Outside the Body Zone there were two camera crews. My friends and I were waving at the crew in the queue. We were on television on the 1 o'clock news.

We than went to the cinema in the grounds of the Dome to see a Blackadder film made especially for the Dome called Back and Forth. It stared Rowan Atkinson, who travelled back to the past in a time machine. I thought the play was brilliant and really funny.

After Lunch we went to the Millennum show. This was my favourite part of the day. I thought the dancers, acrobats and bungee jumpers were really impressive. The stars of the show did acrobatics in the air right in the middle of the Dome. People dived down from platforms at the top of the arena.

Last of all, we went to the shop and bought souvenirs.

Overall, we had a great day. We would have liked to have had longer time to visit the other zones but there was no time spare. We would give the Dome 10 out of 10.
