London - Vauxhall Bridge
Vauxhall Bridge is a steel arched bridge for road and foot traffic, crossing the River Thames in a north-west south-east orientation.
Positioned on the abutments of Vauxhall bridge are bronze statues looking over the waters. There are eight in all, four facing upstream and four facing downstream. They are all female, and depict the arts and sciences.

The four statues facing upstream depict agriculture, architecture, engineering and pottery, while the four facing downstream represent government, education, fine art and astronomy.

Duck Tours
Some people enjoy a tour of London on dry land and in the water by going on a Duck tour. The boat/car is a renovated World War II amphibious landing vehicle.

The home of the real-life James Bonds! The building was designed by architect Terry Farrell, who also designed Charing Cross station. The building was featured in three James Bond films, “Goldeneye”, “The World is not Enough” and “Die Another Day”. |
